Nestlé UK & Ireland has been named as a top 50 business for gender equality.

The Times newspaper and Business in the Community (BITC) have published the annual Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality 2023 and Nestlé has been recognised for its work.

The list is the UK’s most well-established catalogue of employers who are taking action towards workplace gender equality and is now in its 13th year. It aims to highlight employers who are making gender equality part of their business strategy at all levels. Inclusion in the list recognises progress and shows examples of best practices, impact, innovation, and individual achievement.

CEO for Nestlé UK and Ireland, Richard Watson said: “I am extremely proud that Nestlé UK & Ireland has been recognised by The Times in their Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality. We are committed to improving gender equality and to ensuring a fair and respectful workplace for everyone.

“While this accolade is a valued recognition of our efforts so far, we won’t be resting on our laurels. There is still much to do, and we will continue working hard to improve gender equality within and beyond Nestlé. Our progress wouldn’t be possible without everyone in the business taking action and making it important in everything we do.”

The list is hosted by BITC and can be seen here The Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality - Business in the Community (bitc.org.uk)
