Our people, their strengths, talent and energy are our most important asset

We are a people-inspired company. Our people - their skills, experience, talent, and energy - are our most important strength.
In HR, we’re at the forefront of attracting, developing, and engaging more of the exceptional people that we need to grow our business. Our ambition is to build a future ready, inclusive and inspiring community that is a force for good.
People are the key to our success. Our HR function supports our 270,000-strong workforce to continue to drive our organization forward. A role in HR will enable you to contribute to a better future, whether through our industry-leading programs to support youth, drive diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging or help create shared value in everything we do.
The HR function structure at Nestle designed to support the company's overall business objectives and ensure effective management of human resources. The structure typically includes the following key components:
-
HR Leadership At the top of the HR function structure, there is a senior HR leadership team responsible for setting the strategic direction of HR within the organisation. This team works closely with the executive leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals. -
HR Business Partners/People Partners Nestle employs HR business partners who work closely with specific business units or departments. They act as a strategic partner to the business leaders, providing guidance and support on HR matters such as talent -
Centers of Expertise Nestle also has specialised HR teams known as Centres of Expertise (CoEs) e.g Centre of Scale or Centre of Competence. These teams focus on specific areas of HR, such as recruitment and selection, compensation, and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement. CoEs provide specialised knowledge and support to the HR business partners and the wider organisation. -
Shared Services We have a shared services function within the HR structure. This team handles administrative tasks such as payroll, HR data management, and employee inquiries. By centralising these activities, shared services can streamline processes and improve efficiency. -
Employee Relations We have a dedicated team responsible for managing employee relations. This team handles employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations. -
Talent Acquisition We also have a talent acquisition team responsible for attracting and recruiting top talent. They work closely with the HR business partners and hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and manage the end-to-end recruitment process.

I never truly appreciated the size and variety of businesses within Nestlé before I started my career here as a HR Administrator almost 12 years ago. I’m still not sure where the time went! But over this time, I’ve been able to broaden my skillset and experiences, moving to become a HR Manager and more recently a HR People Partner. What I love about Nestlé is that I’ve been able to work within factories, commercial and functional businesses, whilst also working with colleagues in other markets. Each role has given me something different that I’ve been able take into the next, and I’m grateful for the many opportunities ahead for me to continue to develop and grow.
I’m lucky to have worked for Nestle for over 23 years and can honestly say that time has flown by! I love the amazing brands that we get to work with and the fantastic and talented people at local and Global level who make our business great. Working in HR I am fortunate enough to have worked across all areas of our business from factories, Supply Chain, Sales, Categories and in our Centres of Competence. Every opportunity has allowed me to grow and learn new skills from the fantastic people who work for our company. It has often been the roles that I was not sure about where I have learnt the most so that has taught me to say yes to every opportunity that has come my way!
