If you're not including animal foods like meat and dairy into your diet, it's important to consume a range of different plant protein sources to ensure the body gets all it needs.
According to the British Nutrition Foundation, the Reference Nutrient Intake (RNI) or recommended daily amount for protein is 0.75 grams per kilogram of body weight per day for average adults.
