Today, Nestlé UK and Ireland scooped the coveted Two year Health and Wellbeing Award from the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) for its all-encompassing employee health and wellbeing strategy. The RSPH particularly commended Nestlé UK for its revolutionary health check programme which is available to all of its 8,000 employees across the UK.
As part of Nestlé’s Employee Wellbeing Framework, the health checks are part of a three year rollout programme that offers all employees free, one to one coaching that cover the individuals’ mental and physical wellbeing.
Developed in consultation with Nuffield Health, it will help facilitate behavioural change and offer a personalised programme so that employees can make more informed choices for themselves.
The RSPH is an independent health and education charity, dedicated to protecting and promoting the public’s health and wellbeing. The aim of the Health and Wellbeing Awards is to recognise achievements in the promotion of health and wellbeing through activities, policies and strategies which empower communities and individuals, improve the population’s health and address the wider social determinants of health.
