Nestlé is expanding the range of its iconic whirl-shaped cone, Walnut Whip and launching new variants of Nestlé Whip: Delicate Vanilla, Delicious Caramel and Delightful Mint to offer more choice with and without the walnut. Now, there is a range of flavours to enjoy the delicious chocolate whirls beyond the traditional version topped with a walnut piece. The new products will also remain free from artificial flavours, colours and preservatives.

Congratulations to Melanie Murray, IT Apprentice at Nestlé’s Dalston factory, who has been named Carlisle College ‘Apprentice of the Year’. A total of 28 awards were presented at the annual awards event last month, celebrating outstanding achievements of students during the last academic year. Melanie won the main award of the evening, chosen as the winner from a shortlist of six. She was recognised for completing pieces of work to an excellent standard and always being keen to learn and improve, to develop her knowledge both in the classroom and in the workplace.

This week sees Nestlé Professional chefs Darren Chapman and Justin Clark cook up a storm by giving children a taste of making appetising food and creating some art on a plate at two schools. In addition to that our chefs will give the students a unique insight into life as a chef and why it is a career destination of choice.
