Regenerative agriculture is a nature-friendly approach to farming that actively supports three key agricultural resources: biodiversity, water and soil.
At Nestlé we are focused on driving a transition towards more regenerative agriculture and our aim is to show leadership and help to embed these regenerative practices as standard across the food industry.
We put farmers at the heart of what we do, and the Nestlé model brings regenerative agriculture to life through five pillars:

Nestlé Milk Plan At Nestlé, we use 1% of milk produced in the UK for our chocolate and coffee. Our partnership with First Milk helps create long-term sustainable value for farmers, enabling them to invest for the future. The Nestlé First Milk long-term partnership is focused on having a positive impact for generations to come. The Nestlé Milk Plan supports farmers to implement regenerative practices, while paying a premium for their milk and developing the next generation. Each of the farmers is taking practical measures to protect and enhance the soil, water, plants, trees and wildlife. Landscape Enterprise Networks (LENs) Revitalising and future-proofing the British countryside requires partnership and collaboration between private and public-sector organisations to fund nature-based solutions. Nestlé UK and Ireland and sustainability consultancy, 3Keel, developed the LENs model to bring businesses with a common interest together to adopt practices that help to protect the environment, such as habitat restoration and support farmers to shift to regenerative farming methods.Read More
