What the apprenticeship entails
The four-year apprenticeship is built around the Level 6 Food Industry Technical Professional Apprenticeship standard, which incorporates a BSc degree in Food Technology. The programme blends block-release university studies with real on-the-job work experience. You will learn all aspects of food technology in the factory then apply your learnings to enhance our quality systems in the factory. Ultimately you’ll have the satisfaction of being part of a great team playing a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest safety and quality standards.

Who is eligible for the Food Industry Technical Professional (Integrated Degree)?
We’re looking for ambitious candidates with a passion to learn and a genuine interest in developing a career in the food and drink industry. Our apprenticeship programmes are designed to help you build and grow certain strengths and qualities.
You should have or be predicted 3 A-levels or equivalent qualifications at grades BBC including one science-related subject; a BTEC Extended Diploma–DMM, including relevant Science modules; or 112 UCAS Tariff points from 3 A-levels or equivalent in a Science subject; plus Maths and English Language GCSEs at grades C/4 or above. (Science subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Human Biology, Environmental Studies, Sports Science and Design and Technology: Food Technology). Applicants without A-levels will have their qualifications assessed for subject compatibility.
