UK is the first in Europe to try four finger KITKAT Ruby, the first brand to feature Ruby chocolate
Nestlé UK is introducing a Ruby chocolate version of its iconic four finger KITKAT.
Chocolate lovers in the UK will be the first in Europe to try a four finger KITKAT made with Ruby chocolate*, a fourth chocolate after dark, milk and white.
This unique KITKAT offers a new taste experience. The crispy four-finger wafer bar is coated with Ruby chocolate, derived from Ruby cocoa beans, which has an intense berry-fruitiness taste without the addition of any flavour or colour.
Ruby chocolate has been attracting huge interest from chocolate connoisseurs throughout the world since its announcement in September last year and now KITKAT fans in the UK will be able to get their hands on it.
KITKAT made with Ruby chocolate was first introduced earlier this year in Japan and Korea as KITKAT Chocolatory Sublime Ruby sold exclusively at KITKAT Chocolatory boutiques, complementing more than 350 KITKAT ‘Made in Japan’ products in a huge variety of flavours.
The launch of a breakthrough innovation like KITKAT made with Ruby chocolate underlines Nestlé’s commitment to developing new, innovative products to help grow its leading confectionery brands around the world.

“After the extremely successful launch of KITKAT Chocolatory Sublime Ruby in Japan and South Korea, this is the first time the Ruby chocolate will be available in an iconic four finger format and we are sure that the Ruby chocolate KITKAT will be a great hit in the UK.

Ruby chocolate was created by Swiss chocolatier Barry Callebaut which spent over a decade developing this innovative flavour, creating a fourth kind of chocolate to add to the traditional varieties of dark, milk and white.

This unique four finger KITKAT made with Ruby chocolate will be available exclusively in Tesco from 16th April.
Following the UK launch, the product will be introduced to consumers across Europe and the Americas.
