Nestlé UK and Ireland is delving into the world of cereals with a six-week ‘Beyond the Bowl’ campaign to build trust and show its expertise in cereals focusing on the Shredded Wheat brand.
Peek behind the scenes to find out how our wheat is grown, turned into the famous Shredded Wheat biscuits at the factory in Wiltshire and how the breakfast classic supports those in need.
The campaign will take consumers on a tour showcasing the Nestlé Cereals factory in Staverton near Trowbridge and people behind the Shredded Wheat brand, from a wheat farmer to manufacturing experts, who all share the same passion to deliver the breakfast classic. It also goes outside the farm and the factory to bring to life how Shredded Wheat is so important to communities in need.
Sarah Fordy, Head of Marketing, Nestlé Cereals UK and Ireland, said:
“Shredded Wheat is a much-loved British breakfast classic that means a lot to the incredible people who make it.
“We’ve been making Shredded Wheat in the UK since 1925 and moved to our current factory in Staverton in 2008. Our high fibre biscuits are made from only one ingredient, whole grain wheat, and with their classic shape and delicious toasted flavour, have become a much-loved British breakfast classic.
“We are thrilled to invite you to sit down with a bowl of Shredded Wheat and meet some of the incredible, passionate people who bring it to your table. Have a sneak peek behind the scenes and learn more about the care and expertise which goes into this cereal.”
The campaign focuses on three main areas spanning from the fields of Northampton, the factory floor in Staverton and the breakfast tables of a charity in Trowbridge.
