Nestlé UK & Ireland is recalling three Aero hot chocolate products because of a quality issue.
The products are Aero 'Hot Choc' jars (288g) and sachets (24g) and Aero Go Instant 'Hot Choc' cups (28g). No other Nestlé or Aero products are affected.
There is a possibility that food-grade silica beads could be found in a very small number of packs.
These are not harmful if consumed, but Nestlé sets very high standards for the quality of its products and any packs affected by this issue clearly fall short of those standards. This relates only to Aero hot chocolate and does not affect any other Nestlé or Aero products.
We are asking consumers not to consume any of the above products, to dispose of the contents and send the lid of the jar, the empty sachet or the sleeve of the cups (cardboard or plastic 8-sleeve) with their name and address for a full refund (including postage) to:
