Get active with 100 days to go until the Paralympic Games

Will Bailey

With just 100 days until the start of the Paralympic Games, Nestlé Cereals UK is encouraging people to get active.

The partnership between Nestlé Cereals UK and the British Paralympic Association was announced at the beginning of 2020, and although the Games were postponed last summer, the partnership has continued.

Last summer top athletes hosted live fitness sessions to help keep people fit during the UK’s first lockdown. The sessions also included the Paralympic hopefuls talking about their own breakfast and fitness regimes.

This year the partnership will see Nestlé Cereals UK work with four athletes including former Rio 2016 table tennis gold medallist and Strictly Come Dancing star Will Bayley, cyclist, sprinter and 2021 Celebrity Masterchef hopeful Kadeena Cox, sprinter and Dancing on Ice finalist Libby Clegg, and long jumper and Celebrity Masterchef finalist Stef Reid.

There will be fitness tips, live chats with the athletes, nutrition advice and later in the summer and an on-pack competition running during the period of the Games to win family fitness prizes to inspire the nation to get active.

Will Bayley MBE, said “I am delighted to be part of the collaboration between Nestlé Cereals and ParalympicsGB. It's such an exciting time with Tokyo just around the corner and I really hope this campaign inspires people to get up and get active!”
