POLO was first created in 1948, at the end of the Second World War and quickly became a household favourite, successfully fulfilling the market need for a refreshing sweet mint. Over time, the design of the “mint with the hole” has achieved the cultural status of pop art in Britain.
The POLO family has since welcomed Fruit, Spearmint and Sugar Free variants, whilst Original has upheld its position as the number 1 mild mint. POLO Sugar Free mints have been approved by the British Dental Health Foundation.
