In line with HM Government guidance we have adopted a hierarchical approach in order to reduce as far as possible the transmission of coronavirus. Specifically, we have instructed those who can work from home safely do so and this has been our position since 18th March.
Our factory locations remain open during this time helping ‘Supply the Nation’ with effective control measures in place such as increased hand washing, strict social distancing arrangements, use of physical barriers and separation, one way traffic flows and workplace reorganisation. Particular care and attention has been taken to identify routine tasks where social distancing guidelines could be a challenge and we have pro-actively prioritised actions, often in inventive and intuitive ways to overcome these challenges including eliminating non-essential activities at this time.
We keep all control measures under constant dynamic review including the introduction of extra measures wherever appropriate.
Each Individual location has completed an in-depth assessment in conjunction with workplace union representation – the results of which have been shared with employees, contractors and visitors and made available on our intranet.
