What the Customer Brands Placement Entails

You’ll take on live Customer Brand projects relating to retailer own-label products, delivering things like nutritional reformulation, packaging changes and redesign as well as supporting a wide range of technical tasks including artwork approval and retailer sampling panels.

Our placement is organised to give you a full understanding of everything we do in Customer Brands and our experts will be on hand to help you every step of the way to guide and mentor you as you collaborate with teams across our business. It’s all about helping you find where you fit in best on the Customer Brands Team and giving you a clearer idea of the direction your career could take after graduation.

Who is eligible for the Customer Brands Placement?

Ideally, you’ll be in the next-to-last year (or year 3, in Scotland) of a Food Science or related degree. We’re looking for people who are committed to the career path they’ve chosen who will put everything they’ve got into learning as much as they can with us.

What will I get out of a Nestlé Placement?

You’ll have experience at the company that produces household brands like Cheerios, Shreddies and Shredded Wheat which means you’ll already carry weight as a professional before you even graduate. After an eye-opening 12 months, you’ll return to your studies with a real sense of what you’re working towards and you’ll have built a set of contacts at a world-leading business for when you launch your career for real.
