Nicolas Wahli appointed Managing Director for Cereal Partners Worldwide UK & Ireland

Nestlé has appointed Nicolas Wahli as Managing Director for Cereal Partners Worldwide (CPW) UK & Ireland, effective from 1st June 2022.

In his new role, Nicolas will be responsible for leading the team dedicated to the continuous creation and offering of tasty breakfast cereal – with nutritional superiority at the forefront of his mind. He will also oversee the production and delivery of new products to the market as well as prioritise important commitments to sustainability, such as the Nestlé Wheat Plan.    

CPW is a partnership between Nestlé and General Mills and produces some of the world's most iconic breakfast cereals, including Shredded Wheat, Cheerios and Nesquik.   

Nicolas has worked for Nestlé for 20 years - 14 of those at CPW. In his first five years at CPW, he grew the Caribbean business and set up a solid organisation aligned with Nestlé structures.   

Prior to his latest appointment Nicolas was Managing Director for CPUK Northern Europe.  There he brought together seven markets, leading the way in Continental Europe on ways of working, team engagement and resilience. He also delivered year-on-year sales growth in a highly competitive environment with demanding consumers.   

CPUK is responsible for the full range of Nestlé Cereals in the UK & Ireland and Nicolas joins the Nestlé UK & Ireland leadership team led by CEO Stefano Agostini.   

Speaking about his new role, Nicolas said: "It's a great privilege to be leading CPUK. It's the biggest market for CPW globally and steeped in so much heritage.   

"Many of our cereals are grown and produced here and are enjoyed by millions of families every day. My focus is on being sustainable and committed to better food, better lives and a better planet. It has never been more important to our consumers.   

"I'm excited to continue our journey of supporting families and making breakfast better for everyone through our great brands," added Wahli.    

Nicolas has a degree in Hospitality and Tourist Management and lives in North London with his wife and two children.
