Nestlé introduces seasonal favourites with Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte and Holiday Blend for consumers to enjoy at home

To mark the start of the festive season, Nestlé is introducing seasonal Starbucks coffees for consumers to enjoy from the comfort of their home.

For the first time ever, Starbucks fans will be able to get their festive favourites online and from major supermarkets across the country.

There will be five seasonal additions in two festive flavours to carry consumers into the merry season: rich and buttery Toffee Nut Latte and Holiday Blend, a balanced and sweet coffee with herbal and maple notes:

  • Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte by Nescafé Dolce Gusto
  • Starbucks Toffee Nut Latte Premium Instant Coffee
  • Starbucks Holiday Blend by Nespresso
  • Starbucks Holiday Blend Roast & Ground
  • Starbucks Holiday Blend Whole Bean

The new range comes in red packaging inspired by Starbucks iconic red cup, launched twenty years ago to mark the arrival of the holiday season. Today, the visual of stores turning red and getting that first red cup ignites the holiday season for many.

Jane Aldridge, Managing Director of Beverages at Nestlé UK, said:

“We are very excited to introduce the Starbucks festive coffees for home.

“This autumn and winter are going to be less familiar and more challenging for us all. So we are pleased to bring the seasonality of the coffee shop experience into our homes. And now that this range is broader, even more Starbucks fans can enjoy their favourite festive coffees at home.”

The limited edition seasonal Starbucks coffee range will start appearing from the beginning of October in Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Morrisons.

Following the creation of a global alliance between Nestlé and Starbucks in 2018, a new range of Starbucks coffee products for consumers at home hit the shelves in early 2019. It included whole bean, roast and ground, and capsules using Nespresso and Nescafé Dolce Gusto proprietary coffee and system technology. Recently, the line has expanded to include a range of premium instant coffees.

Through the global coffee alliance, Nestlé has the perpetual rights to market Starbucks Consumer Packaged Goods and Foodservice coffee and tea products around the world, outside of Starbucks coffee houses and excluding Ready-to-Drink products.
