Nescafé Original is proud to continue to be an official sponsor of Macmillan Cancer Support’s Coffee Morning. Running for over 30 years, Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is an annual event dedicated to bringing people together over a cup of coffee to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.
From a group in the garden, sharing a coffee over a screen or a takeaway cake and coffee, Nescafé Original is encouraging people to host their Coffee Morning however they like. The official date this year is Friday 24th September, but it can be held at any time.
Macmillan works tirelessly to do whatever it takes for people living with cancer. The disruption caused by the pandemic has meant a higher increase in demand for the charity’s services, while its income is down. Nearly all (98%) of Macmillan’s funding come directly from donations, so hosting a Coffee Morning to raise vital funds has never been more important. The funds ensure Macmillan can continue to deliver the services that people living with cancer desperately need, now and in the future. Nescafé Original is proud to donate £250,000* to Macmillan Cancer Support. The total amount donated by Nescafé Original this year will go towards offering vital support and could fund over 10,000 hours of Macmillan nurses.
Bruna Goncalves, Brand Manager for Nescafé Original at Nestlé UK, said:
“Nescafé Original is thrilled to support Macmillan, whose work is so important to those affected by cancer. There’s no problem too big or too small for Macmillan – it is there for everyone.
“Coffee Mornings are a great way to raise vital funds while enjoying your favourite coffee. Every coffee poured and every penny raised helps to support a fantastic cause - we would encourage everyone out there to play a part. So put the kettle on and get involved!"
Claire Rowney, Executive Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Innovation at Macmillan Cancer Support said:
“We are delighted to have Nescafé Original on board as an official sponsor for Macmillan’s Coffee Morning again this year. Disruption caused by Covid-19 means Macmillan’s income is down at a time when demand for our services is up so it’s never been more important to host a Coffee Morning.
“The support of our sponsors like Nescafe Original is crucial in helping us to raise funds so we can continue to do whatever it takes to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can.”

So, whether you’re in an office, school or any business, Nestlé Professional is bringing workforces together and encouraging as many teams as possible to host their own Macmillan Coffee Morning with Nescafé Original.
The Wholesale and Convenience channel encourages retailers to join in

Nescafé Original is hosting a travelling nationwide roadshow, with the aim of raising further funds and encouraging retailers to host their own Macmillan Coffee Morning events.
