If you have been on Twitter recently, you might have noticed something curious, a little Nescafé Azera mug has made its way onto your tweets.
The emoji, which is activated when you type ‘#StayCurious’ on Twitter, was created by Nhoon Ahmed, Community Manager for Nestlé. She worked in partnership with Twitter to create the hashtag #StayCurious to generate coffee conversations and encourage everyone to “stay curious”.
The #StayCurious emoji is part of Nescafé Azera’s ‘Stay Curious’ campaign, which is all about helping and encouraging people to spark their curiosity – with coffee and beyond.
This campaign started earlier in the year and since, Nescafé have organised a wide array of activities including a Timeout Experiential at The Truman Brewery in which Nescafé partnered up with Timeout to offer a range of activities to spark people’s curiosity whilst Nescafé Azera provided the refreshments.
Nescafé also opened the Azera by Design 2019 voting to the public, which allowed people to #StayCurious in choosing their favourite design of the Azera Coffee packaging.
The #StayCurious emoji first appeared on Twitter feeds in mid-July and is available for a limited time - so get curious and check it out whilst you can! The hashtag has been popular amongst coffee fans and received positive feedback.
Nhoon Ahmed, Community Manager at Nestlé said: “Our #StayCurious hashtag has been super successful as part of our Curiosity Campaign and has generated lots of positive conversation from our customers about Nescafé Azera. We have loved working in partnership with Twitter on this and hope to do something like this again soon, so keep your eyes peeled.”
In other news Nescafé Azera have also recently created new freshly ground coffee bags, taking the hassle out of making freshly ground coffee and it has also been specially formulated to make cold brew.
