Nescafé Azera shows off in Shoreditch

setting up nescafe azera shoreditch gallery

One of London’s most vibrant and creative neighbourhoods, the East End’s Shoreditch, was the location for a unique experience from Nescafé Azera last weekend (20-21 October 2018).

The Nescafé Azera By Design gallery popped up for one weekend at the Old Truman Brewery (now a retail and event venue) featuring immersive installations inspired by the Nescafé Azera By Design student competition. The annual partnership, offers second year design students at the University for the Creative Arts the opportunity to design limited edition packaging for the brand each year.

The Nescafé Azera By Design Gallery showcased all the designs, and brought three to life in immersive rooms where visitors were encouraged to flood their social channels with content featuring the impressive spaces. Each of the three rooms had a completely different feel and experience. Inspired by street art, the unexpected colours and shapes of the 'Colourful Path' was a fun and dynamic space to explore. 'Umbrellas' will reminded visitors that great things can happen on a rainy day in the city and 'Spotlights' took its inspiration from a Soho nightclub, visitors were accordingly dazzled!

The gallery debuted with a special opening night party featuring special celebrity influencer guests including Montana Brown (Love Island, The Island with Bear Grylls), Stevie Johnson (Made In Chelsea), Frankie Gaff (Made in Chelsea), James Middleton (Survival of the Fittest), Josh Lloyd-Cuthbert (Union J) and Chloe Lloyd (Fashion Model) who were invited to create inspirational content from the gallery for their social media channels.

Over the busy weekend the gallery had over 3,200 visitors, each of whom received a free espresso martini made using the new Nescafé Azera Nitro cold coffee.
