How will the Bibendum patron Claude Bossi and Midsummer House boss Daniel Clifford create Shreddies’ iconic lattice pattern and layered structure in a kitchen?

The producers behind Channel 4’s Snackmasters hope that both chefs rise to the challenge at the Shreddies factory in Staverton, Wiltshire, following a week of intensive practice in the comfort of their own kitchens.

Claude and Daniel visit the factory to understand the technicalities behind the process - including speaking with two factory experts, Craig Ainsborough and Julian Roberts - of whom both have over 20 years of Shreddies experience.

The replicas will then be judged by a panel of Shreddies experts ranging from factory expert Craig, marketing expert Rebecca Gale and food scientist Charlotte Ward – to find out who will take the title of the Shreddies Snackmaster.

Factory Manager, Craig Ainsborough said: “We were so excited to challenge two very high-profile chefs with the task of recreating our iconic and much-loved cereals brand, Shreddies. We feel very proud to see our factory on screen and look forward to the nation seeing how Claude and Daniel do in the Snackmasters competition – and whether they actually followed any of our advice!”
