Nestlé’s confectionery brands and its people have a starring role in a brand new Channel 5 series ‘The Hairy Bikers Chocolate Challenge.’
The show sees seven amateur chocolatiers compete through various skill rounds to win the ultimate prize: for their own chocolate bar to be commercially produced by Nestlé.
The five-part series takes a look at some of Nestlé’s best-loved confectionery brands and it features footage from our York and Halifax factories.
Cheryl Allen, Head of Insight, Sustainability and Nutrition, Health and Wellness was one of the judges on the series. She said: “This was a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase Nestlé’s confectionery brands and the expertise of its people. It was fascinating to see how the skills of the contestants developed throughout the show and I know that they valued the insights that Nestlé was able to offer them, as well as the opportunity to see some of our best-loved brands being made. I hope that everyone enjoys the show as much as we enjoyed taking part!”
The show will air on Wednesday 12 February at 21:00 on Channel 5.
