Nestlé has teamed up with Sainsbury’s to offer QUALITY STREET fans a unique chance to get their hands on a very special personalised tin of QUALITY STREET this Christmas.

The promotion will run across five Sainsbury’s stores in the UK: Oldbury, Cheadle, Sydenham, Epsom and Harrogate, on nine days between 10th November and 14th December 2017 and will give almost 5,000 customers the chance to take home a free personalised QUALITY STREET tin lid when they purchase a 1.2kg tin.

A limited number of QUALITY STREET tin lids will be available in each store that can be personalised with a maximum nine-letter word replacing the word ‘Quality’.

The word will be laser engraved onto the lid while you wait and the tin will be ready to take home within minutes.

Pav Gahunia, Brand Manager for QUALITY STREET, said:

“QUALITY STREET is a brand that is all about bringing families and friends together and we are delighted to partner with Sainsbury’s to offer this unique opportunity to our fans.

"The famous QUALITY STREET tin has been valued by families across the country for more than 80 years as a traditional, must-have Christmas buy.

"This year we want to make the tins even more special and collectable by offering the unique chance to personalise it with your name, the name of a loved one or even the name of your own street.”

And that’s not all that QUALITY STREET has got to offer this Christmas…

Last month Nestlé revealed that the Toffee Deluxe will return to the assortment in tubs and tins for Christmas 2017. The sweet was replaced by the new Honeycomb Crunch for the brand’s 80th birthday in 2016 but has been restored following huge public demand. Honeycomb Crunch is also staying meaning that the assortment goes from 12 to 13 sweets overall.

Bringing together two of the nation’s most iconic streets – QUALITY STREET and Coronation Street, Nestlé has joined forces with ITV to offer fans an exclusive, money-can’t-buy opportunity to attend a QUALITY STREET themed Christmas party on the famous cobbles. The competition is open between Monday 6th November and 11pm on 30th November and ten lucky winners and their guests (three guests per winner) will be invited to a one-off bash hosted on the actual set of Coronation Street at Media City in Manchester.

QUALITY STREET fans will also have an opportunity to walk down a QUALITY STREET experience at the Magical Lantern Festival at Roundhay Park in Leeds running from 24th November through to 31st December.

Guests will have the chance to see QUALITY STREET Christmas magic brought to life in front of their eyes with a full QUALITY STREET scene, giant QUALITY STREET sweet lanterns, a snow machine and Christmas music. Visitors will also have a chance to buy a personalised QUALITY STREET Tub – a perfect Christmas gift.

QUALITY STREET was first introduced in 1936 in Halifax, West Yorkshire by Harold Mackintosh. Harold was the son of John and Violet Mackintosh who created the Toffee Deluxe as a standalone product earlier in the 20th century.

Named after the J M Barrie play, QUALITY STREET is still manufactured in Halifax to this day and the Nestlé factory produces more than 10 million sweets every single day in the run up to Christmas.
