Quality Street ‘Choose Your Favourites’ is back at John Lewis for 2019

Lewis Street

Quality Street fans can try a unique new sweet and take home a tin filled entirely with a single favourite by heading to John Lewis this Christmas season.

The retailer is partnering with Nestlé’s Quality Street to bring back last year’s successful ‘Choose Your Favourites’ pop up stations in selected John Lewis stores and again giving shoppers the chance to personalise the famous Quality Street tin with their own name.

John Lewis customers will also be able to choose a unique new sweet in their selection in the shape of the ‘Crispy Truffle Bite’ a milk chocolate covered smooth truffle with crispy cereal pieces and wrapped in the John Lewis & Partner’s Christmas colours of black and gold.

Shoppers were asked to choose a minimum of three different sweets for their 2018 selections but this year, for the first time, those who love one sweet above all the others will have the option to take home a tin full of their favourite.

Following last year’s overwhelming demand for personalised tins in three John Lewis stores, the service has been extended to all 17 stores with the Quality Street offering. Any customers who want to refill last year’s personalised tin can do so at a reduced cost.

Rebecca Holt, Brand Manager for Quality Street, said: “We are thrilled to be partnering with John Lewis again for Christmas 2019. The ‘Choose Your Favourites’ pop-ups and personalised tins were so popular last year that they simply had to come back bigger and better this year.”

Rachel Costello, Partner & Gift Food buyer at John Lewis said: “Last year our customers’ response to the personalised Quality Street tins was overwhelming. This year we have gone even bigger with an exclusive sweet, only sold in our shops, and for the first time ever customers can choose to ‘pick and don’t mix’.”

Tins weigh 1.2kg and prices range from £7.50 to £15. They start to go on sale from 26th September in 17 John Lewis stores across the country: Oxford Street, Southampton, Trafford, Bluewater, Newcastle, Cribbs Causeway, Kingston, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Peter Jones, High Wycombe, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Nottingham, Liverpool, Cambridge and Glasgow.
