Nestlé’s much loved mint brand, POLO, is launching a new pot format this month.
POLO pots are recyclable plastic pots each containing 44 mints and available in three varieties: Original, Sugar Free and Sugar Free Extra Strong.
The pots are easy to open and close and keep the product protected inside. They also offer convenience for consumers on-the-go as they fit nicely in a car holder, or are handy to keep on a desktop.
This new launch comes on the back of a successful 2016 for POLO. Originally launched in 1948, last year POLO benefited from a full brand redesign which highlighted the iconic shape of the POLO sweet that consumers love and enhanced its standout on a supermarket shelf.
Catherine Wragg, Brand Manager, POLO, Nestlé UK and Ireland, said:
“We are very excited to bring this new format to POLO. The new recyclable POLO pots will offer consumers the chance to buy our iconic POLO mint brand in packaging which is both convenient – especially ideal for on-the-go – and ensures the quality of the product inside is of the highest standard.”
POLO is the No.1 sugar free mint brand in the market and is accredited by the Oral Health Foundation as being ‘kind to teeth’. This year POLO Sugar Free will once again sponsor the Foundation’s National Smile Month (which runs from 15th May to 15th June), with PR activity and over 300,000 samples to be distributed.
