Nestlé UK goes green for Macmillan

Nestlé UK is going green as the company kicks off its fundraising efforts for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Across the UK, Nestlé employees will be taking part in a number of green-theme fundraising activities, or travelling to work by green means such as walking or cycling.

At Nestlé UK’s Gatwick headquarters employees will be dressing in green and selling green treats at a charity bake sale.

The company is supporting go mad, go green for Macmillan to raise funds to help support people affected by cancer.

Macmillan aims to improve the lives of people affected by cancer by providing them with practical, medical and financial support. 

Laura Spooner, Macmillan Partnership Manager, says;

“We are delighted to be chosen as Nestlé’s Charity of the Year and are looking forward to working together to help raise funds for people affected by cancer. A huge thank you in advance to all the Nestlé staff who are getting involved.”

Rachel Avery, Charity Fundraising Lead at Nestlé UK, added:

“Macmillan provides vital support to people affected by cancer across the UK. I am very grateful to all our employees who are taking part in raising much needed funds for this worthwhile cause.”
