KIT KAT, one of Ireland’s favourite chocolate brands, is calling on consumers to get involved in the battle to select a new flavour to join the KIT KAT Chunky range. Four limited edition bars, KIT KAT Chunky Mint, KIT KAT Chunky Coconut, KIT KAT Chunky Hazelnut and KIT KAT Chunky Choc Fudge will battle it out in the return of a bigger KIT KAT Choose a Chunky Champion campaign for 2013.
The four new flavours will only be available in stores across Ireland for a limited period, so consumers need to be quick to try each one and cast their vote at www.facebook/kitkatuk before 15th March 2013. The flavour with the most votes will then become the overall winner and join the 2012 Chunky Champion, KITKAT Chunky Peanut Butter, as a permanent addition to the KIT KAT range.
This year, four superhero ‘Flavour Champions’ have been specially created to battle it out as they each champion on behalf of their favourite variant. KIT KAT Chunky Mint will be represented by the rather cool Mintinator; KIT KAT Chunky Coconut will be supported by the beautiful Coconutrix ; KIT KAT Chunky Choc Fudge will be championed by the smooth and determined Fudgetron and finally but by no means least, KIT KAT Chunky Hazelnut will be backed by the slightly nutty Hazelnutter.
The KIT KAT Choose a Chunky Champion campaign will be backed by huge media support including TV, digital, outdoor, radio and experiential activity.
