Meet the innovators: Jan Kuendiger (Group Leader)

Having read a newspaper article on the role of a confectioner, Jan decided at just 16 that this was the career for him. He joined Nestlé through our Modern Apprenticeship Programme in Hamburg, Germany. He split his time between working at our manufacturing plants and a central college of confectionary where he built his knowledge about the role of technology and craftsmanship within the industry.

Jan is now the group leader within our Product Technology Centre in York, overseeing the team in their work on product development.
