POLICY ON FOOD ALLERGIES
Nestlé is committed to providing consumers with a range of quality products to meet consumer needs. We have a responsibility to provide consumers with information about the food products they purchase. In the case of those who suffer food allergies, this information is essential to enable them to confidently choose a suitable diet. The information required to enable consumers to choose suitable foods is available from a number of sources, e.g. labelling of products via the ingredient list, Consumer Services, and the Nestlé UK Internet site. We continue to treat food allergy as a high priority issue and welcome the changes to legislation which can only serve to help the allergic consumer to make informed choices.
