A fun make and eat recipe - thread the Herta frankfurters, peppers and onion on skewers. Marinate in a zingy sauce and grill or barbecue. This will get any child helping to cook and eat their vegetables.

350g pack Herta Frankfurters Classics, cut into bitesized chunks 3 medium red onions, cut into wedges 1 red pepper, deseeded and cut into large chunks 1 yellow pepper, deseeded and cut into large chunks
For the marinade: 6 tbsp tomato chutney juice of half a lime freshly ground black pepper
To serve freshly dressed salad leaves

Soak 4-6 wooden skewers in water for at least an hour (alternatively use metal skewers). Thread chunks of frankfurters and vegetables onto the skewers and set aside.
Mix together the marinade ingredients and brush over the skewers then leave for 10 minutes for the flavours to develop.
Grill or barbecue for 5-10 minutes, turning a couple of times and basting with any remaining marinade. Serve on a bed of freshly dressed salad leaves.
