The All Canadian Coffee

A rich dark coffee with a splash of whisky topped with cream, dripping with maple syrup and decorated with chocolate flakes

Curl up with this soothing evening drink, indulging in the sweet and creamy topping and warming Canadian whisky infused coffee.    

Serves 1
Preparation time: 5 minutes

Ingredients Method

3tbsp double cream
3tbsp maple syrup
200ml (7fl oz) freshly boiled water
3tsp Nescafé Alta Rica coffee
a splash of Canadian whisky (optional)
chocolate shavings, to decorate

In a small bowl, whip together the double cream and 1tbsp maple syrup to make a maple cream. 

Place a spoon in a tall coffee glass along with the Nescafé Alta Rica and pour over the freshly boiled water. Stir until dissolved. Add a splash of Canadian whisky (if desired) and the remaining maple syrup, and stir. 

Top with maple cream and chocolate shavings.
Sit back, relax and enjoy.
