- Black Magic
BLACK MAGIC
Have you Discovered the Secret?
The first boxes of Black Magic were unwrapped in 1933 after an extensive consumer survey. The survey, one of the very first examples of mass market research, asked 7,000 consumers about their particular chocolate preferences with 3,000 people taste-testing Black Magic against the most expensive chocolate assortments available at that time.
Today Black Magic is a brand that wants to be re-discovered. It has a deep understanding of its consumer’s needs through extensive research - the forerunner to our brand new collection.
Deliciously rich and creamy, our new chocolates offer a smooth and creamy experience, without a hint of the bitterness often found in dark chocolate. Whether you’re indulging yourself or treating someone special, our new tastes and textures are truly a sensation to savour.
Let us take you on a voyage of dark chocolate discovery….

MATCHMAKERS
This line was first launched in 1968. It is believed that Matchmakers came by their name as a “token of love”, “someone making a match”, “Matching your love”. They also looked like matches as they were originally one third of the length they are now.
