Good Health for New Mum's ~ A Balanced Diet for helping Weight Loss Post Pregnancy:

Foods containing fat & Foods containing sugar

Eating too much fats and sugar can lead to excess weight problems - so eat these in moderation

Main nutrients

How much per day?

Eat sparingly. These foods can be high in calories therefore eating too much of these will compromise any weight loss plan. Eat sparingly and buy healthier options like low fat biscuits for occasional treats.

Diet varieties of soft drinks are low in calories and sugar. Experiment with recipes for healthy desserts, sweet and savoury snacks. By substituting a favourite fatty food for a healthier option you won't feel deprived and will often make a healthier choice. By banning these foods completely you risk craving them and eating more. Remember, moderation is the key.
