POSSIBLE PROBLEMS

Breastfeeding is a skill, like any other, that you may find difficult to achieve at the beginning, but you'll both be glad you persisted.

You may find breastfeeding difficult at the beginning but you'll be glad you persisted

During the first days of breastfeeding, you may feel tense; you need to breathe in deeply and slowly breathe out again. As you relax, the milk will begin to flow. Most women find breastfeeding "plain sailing" but, if problems arise, there's a very simple solution: ask for help.

Besides, bear in mind that simply talking about your difficulties can help you to keep breastfeeding. Eventually, to cope with 'leaky boobs' or long broken nights, you may think about expressing your milk. This may be a big relief for you as it enables someone else to feed baby and so lets you rest for longer.
