BREASTFEEDING

Mother breastfeeding baby
Breastfeeding provides the best source of natural nourishment your baby will get in the first few months of life

You are pregnant and your baby is expected in a few week's time; it's time to think about his or her feeding. Choosing how to feed your baby is a very important decision, which can affect both your and your baby's health.

Breast milk is the best way to feed a baby and it is the only natural way to feed your baby.

Nestlé is strongly committed to the protection and promotion of breastfeeding and has always emphasised the superiority of breast milk as far back as 1867, when Henri Nestlé said:

"During the first few months, the mother's milk will always be the most natural nutriment, and every mother able to do so, should herself suckle her child."
