Clinutren Thickener is a modified food starch, ideal for use with all types and temperatures of drinks and pureed meals, to modify textures for patients experiencing chewing and swallowing difficulties

Ingredients
Modified Maize Starch
Desired Consistency - based on per 100mls made up with water Quantity Extra Calories
Syrup 5g (1 scoop, or 3 tsp) 20kcal
Custard 7g (1.5 scoops, or 4 tsp) 28kcal
Pudding 8g (1.75 scoops, or 5 tsp) 32kcal

Sprinkle the desired amount of powder into the liquid and stir briskly with a whisk
or fork until dissolved.

Allow the liquid to rest for one minute before serving.

For pureed foods the guidelines provided for liquids can be applied. If the texture
becomes thicker than desired, simply add a small amount of liquid and re-mix.
