CUSTOMER SERVICE
In Customer Service we cover everything from fulfilment capture to customer stock levels, overseeing promotional orders to understanding the impact on Nestlé of changes to customer supply chains. You’ll be liaising across the business with sales, distribution, demand and supply planning.
Our York-based Customer Service Executives play a key role in the Customer Service department in managing the day-to-day contact with our customers, the retailers and wholesalers.
The main purpose of these roles is ensuring that orders and collections are processed within required timescales to meet customers expectations and distribution lead-time, liasing with necessary departments to resolve any issues.
You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining an effective and professional working relationship with both internal and external contacts in order to maximise customer service and customer fulfilment.
Good administrative and organisational skills will be required, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and clearly at all levels. Candidates will need to be capable of using their own initiative to solve problems, with sound PC skills, working effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines, and be able to contribute to a team-working environment. Previous experience, or having a general interest, in customer service would be preferred but is not essential.
