Category Management & Customer Marketing
Category Managers own the overall Commercial Strategy. Their role is to create strong category and channel plans and to provide the right tools and information for the Account Managers to sell and execute these plans to our customers. Setting customer targets on turnover and investment and ensuring we get strong return on all our activities, makes Category Management an important guardian of Nestlé UK commercial investment.
Customer Marketing Managers take an active part in the sell to the customers when they present key category drivers and our new product introductions. Another important role of Customer Marketing is to build strong activation plans for our major in store events – eg sampling, display units, retail press or in store radio. This is very exciting and challenging role for anyone who enjoys a combination of long term strategic thinking with a drive and attention to detail required for execution of the plans.
