We have a phenomenal business with phenomenal brands. It’s highly charged, highly competitive and to say that many of the line managers are strong characters would be an understatement. You need to be able to get to the crux of the business issue and then find an HR solution. Rather than charging in with opinions at the ready, instinctively you will listen, probe and question and win over people with considered, intelligent and determined argument. Which brings us to your career to date: we reckon that you need substantial experience in good HR practice but will probably have focused more on people and organisation strategies. It will be obvious that you’ve got the potential and spark to deliver a new HR model.
