Some of the positions within the company may ask you to be involved in management accounting projects and in the provision of financial support to factories. Alternatively, you may lead a team in providing a highly effective management accounting service to a range of manufacturing and co-packing operations. On the other hand you may work as a partner to a commercial function like Consumer Marketing, Sales or Customer Marketing to proactively drive the category to achieve its financial and business objectives. Whatever area you work in, your customers will be of vital importance to you and your enthusiasm and inventiveness in seeking out performance improvements will be greatly valued by a wide variety of managers from across the business.
Technical competence alone is not enough to succeed in Nestlé. It is essential you have excellent communication skills as you will be dealing with managers at different levels of the business explaining complex financial information. Equally important is a practical, ‘can-do’ approach, strong business awareness and the ability to prioritise and complete a variety of tasks to tight deadlines, because we work hard within Nestlé but we also play hard!
